Ahmed Whitt
GA
Biography
Born on the 22nd of August on the 85th year of the 20th millennia, Ahmed Whitt was conceived in the at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, unknowingly binding a connection between himself and the university long before he even thought about college. Ahmed is an only-child and prides his 12th grade Gym teacher, Mr. Lieber, for instilling in him a sense that one can always push themselves to do better in anything given a modest amount of effort.
Many of us aspire to become public figures; Ahmed specifically wants to become the future mayor of Philadelphia. Some of the things that Ahmed would change about Philadelphia as mayor would be to increase the college student retention rate and to bring more businesses and philanthropic organizations to the greater Philadelphia area.
Upon arriving at Penn, one of Ahmed’s most inspiring courses was his freshman year Health in Urban Communities class. This course taught Ahmed how to implement practical applications of academic research and thus helped serve as a catalyst for his Urban Studies major.
Like many of us who may not like to admit it, Ahmed has had his share of tough courses here at Penn. A particular class that stood out was Visual Neuroscience, which despite having a professor that Ahmed liked, was just too dense in material (we can all relate). One of the easier courses that Ahmed has taken at Penn would be his Geology 101 class, which had a great professor who “brought life to life.”
One of the great things at Penn that Ahmed enjoys is the SPECTRUM group, which is responsible for many events such as the Penn Relays, concerts, etc. SPECTRUM’s strong organizational structure coupled with great people and leadership earns Ahmed’s Seal of Approval. One of the things at Penn that perturbs Ahmed is the high cost of textbooks.
I encourage you all to explore Philadelphia for it is a dynamic city with many cultures. One of Ahmed’s favorite places is West Oak Lane in Northwest Philadelphia, it is significant to Ahmed because it is where he grew up.
If Ahmed could be anywhere, his favorite geographical place would be the “entire state of Virginia.” Ahmed states this because he enjoys Virginia’s relaxed attitude and less-stressful country life.
Ahmed’s favorite food is Spinach pie and his least favorite food is Okra. As for music, Ahmed enjoys blasting Stevie Wonder but deplores the Insane Clown Posse. When not eating Spinach pie, Ahmed’s out playing his favorite sport of Football but you won’t catch him ever doing Tae Bo!
If any of you lovely ladies out there would want to catch a flick with my main man Ahmed, you would probably want to watch ‘Coming to America’ and not ‘Weekend at Bernie’s 2.’ Obviously we have a classy guy here. After all, he did win a playwright competition! Ladies and Gentlemen, that is a little brief about Ahmed, but don’t take my word for it, find out for yourself!
