Biography
Jason Nagata C ’08 is a Health and Societies major from Monterey Park, CA. He graduated from the Polytechnic School in Pasadena in 2004. Jason plays violin with the Penn Symphony Orchestra, writes for the Daily Pennsylvanian’s sports section, participated in the Asian Pacific American Leadership Initiative, and is a PEER Mentor. In addition to working as a Riepe House Manager, he is a speech advisor for the Communication Within the Curriculum program. He enjoys swimming, playing violin, and cooking. His favorite courses at Penn were Ann Cole Brown’s Writing Seminar in the Essay, Lawrence Bernstein’s History of the Symphony course, and John DiIulio’s Introduction to American Politics course. He would like to thank his parents, Ronnie and Ada, for their support and for sending him to the University of Pennsylvania.
